Creativity — it’s our future.
Essential Question:
How can assessment foster student creativity?
What is creativity, and why is it vital for success in school and beyond?

What do you think about THE FUTURE OF EDUCATION
We are observing “a revolution in education.” We know that improving technology play a distinctive role in the evolution, and traditional foundations will face challenges in the future.
I have been looking for initial findings on the future of the 21st-century education.
As a passionate teacher, I am interested how do I best educate my the students?
It is not about what I teach, but about how I teach them.
According to the recent literature, on the subject, today’s education is behind new requirements and technologies.
There is a vibrant debate about preparing teachers to use new technics as well as how up-to-date educators might become more“future-oriented” and familiar with new skills.
I am interested in discussing these thoughts with others.
Certainly, we should take into account the varied nature of education, which is especially significant, in developing countries.
I do not try to search for a universal remedy of worldwide education with not the same needs. It would be unrealistic.
Although, the future education will become more technically driven, I need to underline that new technology is not going to substitute students in a classroom.
More than that, it will neither replace the social life nor the progress learners they go through as part of their study.
Could you please fill in my form?
I am collecting data for the conference.

Jacek Kaczmarski Mury
On natchniony i młody był, ich nie policzyłby nikt
On im dodawał pieśnią sil, śpiewał, że blisko już świt
Świec tysiące palili mu, znad głów unosił się dym
Śpiewał, że czas, by runął mur, oni śpiewali wraz z nim
Wyrwij murom zęby krat
Zerwij kajdany, połam bat
A mury runą, runą, runą
I pogrzebią stary świat!
Wkrótce na pamięć znali pieśń i sama melodia bez słów
Niosła ze sobą starą treść, dreszcze na wskroś serc i dusz
Śpiewali wiec, klaskali w rytm, jak wystrzał poklask ich brzmiał
I ciążył łańcuch, zwlekał świt, on wciąż śpiewał i grał
Wyrwij murom zęby krat
Zerwij kajdany, połam bat
A mury runą, runą, runą
I pogrzebią stary świat!
Aż zobaczyli ilu ich, poczuli siłę i czas
I z pieśnią, że już blisko świt, szli ulicami miast
Zwalali pomniki i rwali bruk - Ten z nami! Ten przeciw nam!
Kto sam, ten nasz najgorszy wróg! A śpiewak także był sam
Patrzył na równy tłumów marsz
Milczał wsłuchany w kroków huk
A mury rosły, rosły, rosły
Łańcuch kołysał się u nóg...
Patrzy na równy tłumów marsz
Milczy wsłuchany w kroków huk
A mury rosną, rosną, rosną
Łańcuch kołysze się u nóg...

"How many of you have ever tried to take a free course on the Internet?"
Over half the class raised their hands.
"And how many completed it?"
All the hands went down.

Tina Turner & David Bowie -Tonight (Private Dancer Tour 1985)
Tina Turner (born Anna Mae Bullock; November 26, 1939) is an American singer and actress whose career has spanned more than 50 years. She has won numerous awards and her achievements in the rock music genre have earned her the title The Queen of Rock 'n' Roll. Turner started out her music career with husband Ike Turner as a member of the Ike & Tina Turner Revue. Success followed with a string of hits including "River Deep, Mountain High" and the 1971 hit "Proud Mary". With the publication of her autobiography I, Tina (1986), Turner revealed severe instances of spousal abuse against her by Ike Turner prior to their 1976 split and subsequent 1978 divorce. After virtually disappearing from the music scene for several years following her divorce from Ike Turner, she rebuilt her career, launching a string of hits beginning in 1983 with the single "Let's Stay Together" and the 1984 release of her fifth solo album Private Dancer.
Her musical career led to film roles, beginning with a prominent role as The Acid Queen in the 1975 film Tommy, and an appearance in Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. She starred opposite Mel Gibson as Aunty Entity in Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome for which she received the NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Actress in a Motion Picture, and her version of the film's theme, "We Don't Need Another Hero", was a hit single. She appeared in the 1993 film Last Action Hero.
One of the world's most popular entertainers, Turner has been called the most successful female rock artis and was named "one of the greatest singers of all time" by Rolling Stone. Her combined album and single sales total approximately 180 million copies worldwide. She has sold more concert tickets than any other solo music performer in history. She is known for her energetic stage presence, powerful vocals, career longevity, and widespread appeal. In 2008, Turner left semi-retirement to embark on her Tina!: 50th Anniversary Tour. Turner's tour became one of the highest selling ticketed shows of 2008-2009.[8] Turner was born a Baptist, but converted to Buddhism and credits the spiritual chants with giving her the strength that she needed to get through the rough times.

Hey Jude - Paul McCartney, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Sting, Phil Collins...
My favorite singers. What do you think?
Music For Montserrat was a concert held on September 15, 1997 at the Royal Albert Hall. Musicians came together to raise funds for the Caribbean island of Montserrat after a major volcanic eruption earlier that year had left the island devastated. The concert starred musicians such as Phil Collins, Ray Cooper, Carl Perkins, Jimmy Buffett, Mark Knopfler, Sting, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Paul McCartney, Midge Ure, Arrow and many more, all of whom had once recorded at the island's famous AIR Studios.
The concert was arranged and produced by George Martin, with proceeds from the show evening, DVD and CD, used for immediate relief and also helping fund the building of a new cultural center in Montserrat. On completion in 2006, George Martin gifted the centre to the islanders.
For Carl Perkins this was his last major live performance as he died just over four months later on January 19, 1998
